Our History

The Namdhari community in Thailand has a long-standing legacy of selfless service, compassion, and commitment to humanity. Rooted in strong spiritual values, the community has always believed in serving beyond boundaries and uplifting society through meaningful action.
The vision for MISB was conceived by His Holiness Sri Satguru Pratap Singh Ji, who believed deeply in the transformative power of education. He envisioned a school that would nurture children with knowledge, values, and universal understanding, while remaining firmly grounded in service to mankind.
This vision was realised in Bangkok, Thailand, in 1997, under the blessings and guidance of our founder His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji, who brought his father’s dream to life. On 24 August 1997, the school was inaugurated, offering a unified centre of learning for the Namdhari community in the heart of the city at Sukhumvit in Bangkok.
Today, MISB stands as an institution of academic excellence and value-based education. Guided by the enduring legacy of our Founder, Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji, the school continues to inspire generations of learners to lead with knowledge, integrity, and compassion.
